Kats lesson 26/09/13

In this lesson we concentrated on motif's this involved having a discussion about what a motif comes from and how to create one, we also spoke about how creating a stimuli can improve the motif. This can all be worked out by writing a 'dance planner' where we can write all our ideas and any links for music or videos ect. We would write our stimuli in the middle of the page, in this case era's of dance, and make all ideas stem from that.

Later on in the lesson we went on to create freeze frames from previous era's of dance, one of mine was wacking from the 1980's. We then went on to create a short dance routine to the music given and collected feed back from the class.

We also learnt about Dynamics, this included force; power e.g. punch, flow; fluidity,  smooth/sharp and speed; fast/slow. When performing other performances I consider these dynamics to insure I perform the best I can to the best of my ability.
