We have decided to go with the musical Lion King. The lion king was first shown in 1994 and then became a musical in 1999. We have chosen to join african dance to the musical dance peice we are doing to show our stimuli 'Decades of dance'. African dance started in the 1930's which although is not close to when the musical is released shows the cultural dance of the country the Lion king is set in. We are going to have a narrative structure and tell a story. We are going to try to get the point across that it is a child hood memory.
